Greetings Members and Friends!

Welcome to the BCALA-CT website! These are exciting times for the chapter because in January 2009, we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Connecticut affiliate of Black Caucus of the American Library Association.

As my 2007-2008 predecessors Astoria Ridley and Debra Williams mentioned in their welcome message, I too would like to thank each and every one of you for every time you have participated, donated your time and supported the Connecticut affiliate of BCALA.

I invite you to continue to be involved and participate in the organization either by attending meetings and programs, committee participation or sharing your ideas to continue strengthening this organization's success for the next decade!

I am ready to work with you, and guide this organization as we continue to move forward.
